Place-based online continuum

Course description

Running from October 2024 - March 2025. Six facilitated sessions, meeting online for two and a half hours, every four weeks to touch base, explore more, share experiences and support one and others placed-based practices to develop. Carrying on from our 'Sense of Place' and 'Wayfinder' courses, you now have time to deepen the themes that resonate with you and continue being curious about your place-based creative practice. One of the beautiful outcomes from our courses is the collaborative and supportive environment cohorts develop when working together and these sessions allow creative practitioners to continue forming relationships and sharing ideas as part of a wider collective. So whether you only show up to these sessions to be the listening post who offers reflection to others or you come with physical, material outcomes to share, we can continue to journey alongside one another on our explorations into 'Place'. These sessions will be facilitated by Mairi and include an art making activity and time for each participant to talk and share their thinking with space for reflection and feedback from peers.
